Films you should watch
In anticipation of the upcoming Academy Awards and to celebrate our new editorial team at www.DeathToGlamour.com, we are running a competition entitled ‘Films you should watch’.
To enter, sign up or log into the site and submit an article about any film, old or new, that explains why you believe it’s worth watching. Perhaps it was badly reviewed yet you see genius in it, maybe it’s a redux version that you believe completely outshines the original, or a film that inspired you in or helped you look at an aspect of life in a different way.
Whatever it is, we want to hear about it. Come on inspire us to watch it too.
Then, once you have submitted your article either click to ‘tweet’ or facebook ‘like’ it, whichever you prefer.
You can submit your article and tweet/like it at any time from Monday the 21st February until Friday the 1st April.
The closing date for entries is Friday the 1st April.
The winner will be selected from all entries on Friday the 29th April.
The winner will win £50.
The winning submission will be voted for by members of the www.DeathToGlamour.com editorial team. The number of unique visits to articles will also be taken into account.
All submissions will be immediately displayed within your personal blog area e.g. www.DeathToGlamour.com/blog/username. We aim to publish all valid entries under ‘latest’ within 8 hours of receipt; chosen entries will be displayed on our home page.
This competition is open to all UK residents who are 18 or over.
There is no limit on the number of entries per person.
Only submissions accompanied by a tweet or facebook like by their entrant will be accepted.
Editorial team members can enter but they cannot vote for their own submission.
Entries must be original and entrants must own the full copyright of their submission/s.
We reserve the right to edit submissions as required.
The winner will be notified by Friday the 13th May using the email address they entered when they signed up on this website. |
