Fools Paradise
Hmmm – thanks then.
You’ve given M & S the ad campaign and free PR they’ve been dreaming of and ensured that either the quality/style range of bras will suffer across the board or that you’ll be forever compensated by your smaller busted counterparts.
And while I’m at it, I simply can’t believe that so many of us continue to wear the wrong size bras. Has no one been paying attention to the incessant media around bra fittings that’s been shoved down our necks over the past 10 years? One day it’s 70% of us who are wearing the wrong size, the next it’s 85%. Where on earth do these figures come from? And why do they not go down as the fitting rooms fill up?
Does anyone else get the feeling that it’s not that we’re buying the wrong size bras, it’s just that the bra makers keep extending the size range in order to con us into buying more? I swear I’ve gone from an M & S measured 32B to a 30DD over the past few years – and the only thing that’s changed is that M&S didn’t sell a 30DD the last time I was measured. |
