Darren Day, the ‘smooth-talking love-rat’, who filled Jason Donovan’s cast off ‘Dream Coat’, continues to follow in Donovan’s wake as the latest fading celebrity to attempt a re-launch of his career by divulging what a mess he’s made of things.

I can see it now – milk the cocaine addiction, your weight gain, mention how much you adore your kids and add in a heavy dose of old fashioned redemption. Oh, and while you’re at it; talk openly about your love of pies, shave your head, adopt a goatie, and wear a vest. We’ll aim for Die Hard 5 or The Wrestler 2 and at the very least we’ll get you in as a random Mitchell in Albert Square.
